CAP Closes New Platform Investment
Capital Alignment Partners ("CAP") is pleased to announce the closing of a new platform investment in Buffkin/Baker Holdco, LLC (“Buffkin/Baker”). Buffkin/Baker is an executive search firm that serves a variety of end markets, including healthcare, private equity, technology, media, telecom, non-profits, and education. CAP partnered with the existing management team, providing subordinated debt and equity capital to support the company’s growth strategy. The management team remained in place post-close and rolled a portion of their equity into the new platform. CAP’s investment also provided partial liquidity to existing shareholders and funded the acquisition of a complementary asset.
