We co-published a Primer!

Raising Voices and African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF) launched a Primer for African Women’s Organisations on VAW Prevention on August 19th, 2019 in a Convening hosted by AWDF in Accra. The convening was attended by African women’s right organizations, researchers and funders.

This primer provides an overview of key terms, trends, approaches, and evidence used to frame violence against women (VAW) prevention programming. It is designed to strengthen programming, advocacy, and research for evidence-based VAW prevention in Africa.
