We hope you had an incredible summer and are excited for another fantastic year at Waverly-Belmont!
As we kick off the school year, I’m thrilled to introduce your 2026–2027 PTO Board:
Kyra Halperin, President – 2nd grade
Jackie Tidwell, Vice President – K and 2nd grade
Hunter Roper, Treasurer – 1st grade
Caitlin McGuirk, Vice Treasurer – 1st grade
Lisa Buckley, Secretary – K and 3rd grade
Alex Russell, Communications – 2nd grade
We're incredibly proud of what our school community accomplished together last year. Thanks to the generosity of our families and supporters, we funded a beautiful new playground and helped bring Communities In Schools to Waverly-Belmont for the first time - two investments that will benefit our students for years to come.
This year, in partnership with school administration, our biggest priority is funding additional student-facing staff positions, along with supporting the many programs and initiatives that help our students and teachers thrive. We'll be sharing more about those goals and our fundraising plans in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, we'd love for you to get involved in whatever way works best for your family. Whether you have an hour to volunteer, a great idea to share, or simply want to stay informed, there's a place for you in the PTO.
