Dear Student,
Congratulations on all your accomplishments, we’re looking forward to celebrating with you next week!
Tickets are now available for Commencement 2025 and can be reserved online.
Graduates attending Commencement events will need to reserve tickets for themselves and each of their guests using their Tufts student ID number (available on your Tufts ID card or in SIS). Instructions for ordering tickets are included at the end of this message.
Ticket details:

This is an online, cloud-based ticketing system which is different from Tufts Tickets and SIS.
- Graduates (from all schools) will be required to obtain tickets for themselves and each of their guests. If you are unsure of your Tufts ID number, please contact Student Services at 617-627-2000.
- Tickets are free of charge.
- Tickets are not limited.

There is no deadline for ordering tickets, but students are strongly encouraged to complete their order before Commencement events to ensure a smooth day for all attending.
- There are no assigned seats for guests.

Each Commencement attendee will receive one (1) ticket, titled “Tufts University 2025 Commencement”, which will serve as a “global pass” to all ceremonies held over the weekend, May 17 – May 18, 2025. The same ticket will be used for all ceremonies.

Instructions for ordering your tickets:

- Go to purplepass.com/tuftscommencement
- Click on “Buy Tickets”
- Indicate the quantity of tickets you are reserving.
- Click “Add To Cart”

Enter your Tufts ID number (available on your Tufts ID card or in SIS) into the box that reads “Code Required”
- Click on “Apply”

Add your “Ticket Holder Info” (email address, first name/last name, and phone number)
- Click “Review Order”
- Click “Complete Order”
|
If you do not receive an email confirmation with your electronic tickets, your order is incomplete.
Tickets will be sent electronically to the email address submitted in the ticketing system. The graduate should retain one ticket for themselves and forward or print out the remaining tickets for their guests. For electronic tickets, it is strongly advised to save/download tickets onto your smartphone in advance of getting to campus. Tickets will be scanned upon entry to each ceremony venue.
