Dear Student,
We are writing with sadness in our hearts to let you know that Freidlay Steve E23 has died. He earned a BS in mechanical engineering and was a current graduate student studying Innovation and Management in the School of Engineering. In the face of this painful loss, our hearts go out to his family and friends.
We are never prepared for the loss of someone in our community. It can be especially hard to accept the loss of someone so young. In times like these, it is more important than ever to rely on each other and draw strength from our community.
Please take care of yourselves and each other during this time. Below you will find resources for support. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to gather tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Interfaith Center. We will share details of any future Tufts community gathering to remember Freidlay at a later date.
