This email will focus on transcripts.
Who Needs Transcripts?

1) HPRC – needs unofficial copies of transcripts from all other colleges and universities from which you ever earned credit. Print them out from online or copy ones you have and mail or deliver to HPRC. We already have your Tufts transcript.

2) You – you will need to have all your transcripts in front of you as you complete the central application – AMCAS, AADSAS, AACOMAS, etc.

3) The Application Services – you are required to send an official transcript from the university registrar of each and every US College or university you ever attended to the application service – AMCAS, AADSAS, AACOMAS, etc. Plan ahead for this. Read instructions carefully to determine if and how to send transcripts for study abroad.

How to Send Transcripts

Read the instructions for each application service. They have special requirements and matching forms that must be attached to your official transcripts. Failure to read and follow instructions often results in delays in processing your application. Do it right the first time.

AMCAS, AACOMAS and AADSAS are now open and you can begin to read instructions and find out how to request transcripts in the month of May. Try to address this aspect of the application as soon as possible.

Your Tufts Transcript

You are responsible for requesting your official Tufts transcript to be sent to the central application which you will be completing. Here is the registrar website where you do this:
http://students.tufts.edu/registrar/what-we-assist/request-transcript-or-diploma

Be sure to note that you want current spring grades included on this transcript if you have just finished classes. You cannot put in your request online since there is a matching form that must be included so you must do it in person or via mail. Again, read and follow instructions and you will be all set.
Other college transcripts
You will take the same steps as you do for your Tufts transcript, and access that college’s website to learn about their process.
Study Abroad
Again, read the AMCAS, AACOMAS and AADSAS instructions carefully. There are numerous tutorials on the AMCAS site and this one addresses study abroad.
