Student-Led Tour of Michelle Lopez: Shadow of a Doubt

Join the TUAG Student Programming Committee for a public, polyvocal tour of Michelle Lopez: Shadow of a Doubt. In short gallery talks, students guide visitors through the exhibition and share the stories behind their favorite pieces.

Pre-Registration Advising Kick-Off

The Advising team will be present to help students sign up for appointments for pre-registration advising for Fall '26 courses. Come for snacks, stickers, and to view studio course previews. Meet with Gardner Staff and Learn about Summer Internship

Stop by the Gardner's table to explore metal embossing and create an artwork inspired by the museum’s collection. Talk to the staff and current Polly Thayer Starr intern about the summer internship and museum programs.

Yale University Art Gallery Field Trip
When: Saturday, March 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Pick-Up Location: SMFA Boston campus at 9:10 a.m.; Medford (Aidekman Arts Center) at 8:30 a.m.
RSVP to join Student Life for its first trip to Yale University Art Gallery and Yale Center for British Art. Students will have roughly 2.5 hours at each location.

Professor of the Practice Jennifer Schmidt's project For Clara: Shortcut on an extended plane and work Schmidt produced in collaboration with Yani Chuang at the TextielLab from 2024-2026 are the focus of an article by Willemijn de Jonge for the TextielLab at the Textiel Museum in the Netherlands. A sample of Schmidt's is included in the TextielLab Sample Archive.
