The US Fulbright Scholars website offers access to awards and application components. heck out the Review Criteria page. The FAQ page includes information re: IRB approval, foreign language skills, invitation letters, etc. The deadline is September 15 for awards in the following academic year.

Recent Changes to Federal Standards for Maintaining, Collecting, and Presenting Data on Race and Ethnicity

Earlier this year, the federal Office of Management and Budget published revisions to Statistical Policy Directive No. 15: Standards for Maintaining, Collecting, and Presenting Federal Data on Race and Ethnicity. If you are a researcher collecting demographic data (particularly those with a current federal award or a planned future federal grant submission), please pay close attention to these revisions and incorporate changes to your study design as needed. Updated Guidance for Storing and Sharing Human Subjects Research Data

The ORCI has worked with IT to update the recommended guidelines for storing and sharing human subjects research data. This new version includes information about the use of transcription services/apps. Please see G-16: Guidance on Data Management Requirements for Research Data for the most recent recommended best practices.

Indirect Cost Recovery and Workday

If you're a Principal Investigator on a grant-funded project, you are now able to see and spend your available balance of recovered Indirect costs (aka Facilities & Administration costs) in Workday (with the Sources and Uses of Funds Report - contact your grants accountant for assistance). New PIs and PIs who haven't had an active grant in the past few years should check with your Dean's Office to request or confirm that you have an Indirect Cost Recovery Designation worktag arranged so that when your new grant comes in, you're properly set up.
