We are excited to welcome you on campus in just a few months!
We are eager to get to know each and every one of you. As you went through the admissions process you learned how multifaceted NYU is — indeed, it is the reason many of you came to us. But remember, that distinctiveness is due in no small part to who YOU are. Each time we welcome a new class of students, NYU is reinvigorated by your unique energy, interests, and ideas. And we know that you are eager to enter this remarkable and distinct global community — in NYC and across our 14 sites all over the world — bringing your best self, poised to learn and contribute in ways that reflect your own lived experience.
All this to say, we’re ready for you and can’t wait to help you grow and thrive!
Speaking of fresh starts, our
Welcome Leaders have aptly chosen
The Start of Something New as the theme for this year’s
NYU Welcome, our transition program for incoming students every semester. NYU Welcome will offer an exciting variety of in-person and virtual programs, events, and initiatives to support your transition to NYU. Over the next few months, you’ll hear from us regularly, as we connect you to peers, faculty, staff, and others, highlight timely requirements, and generally help you along as you reach the very special day when you start classes in January.
We encourage you to review the
Dates and Deadlines now to familiarize yourself with upcoming highlights and resources. More information about upcoming tasks will be sent over the next few months.
In the meantime, we wish you and your family a healthy and safe fall, as we look forward to your arrival at NYU. You can contact us at
welcome@nyu.edu with any questions.
With all best wishes,
