Exciting investments are underway this summer in Historic Westminster as construction kicks off on the replacement Westminster Municipal Courthouse!

The new courthouse and a new Community Reach Center building will be built on the existing courthouse’s parking lot, which will allow the courthouse to remain fully operational during the anticipated two years of construction.

Please visit our pre-construction open house on May 22, 2025, to see the final design of the new safe, secure, and accessible courthouse and learn about what to expect during construction.

The City has been working closely with neighbors and community members throughout the design process to ensure the courthouse campus reflects community priorities. In addition to a courthouse, the site will feature a new park and playground for the community.

As construction begins, the City and contractor will continue working with residents and local organizations to minimize construction impacts throughout the project. 

Bring the family and enjoy refreshments while learning about this important community investment.
