COVID-19 Campus Reminder

Staff can meet with students in-person, but will also continue to meet remotely via phone, Zoom or Google Meet, if preferred. Miami University requires face coverings indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status.

Eleven Miami students, alumni named semifinalists in Fulbright competition

Seven Miami seniors, one graduate student, and three alumni have been recommended by the U.S. National Screening Committees for further consideration by the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in the countries to which they applied. They will learn this spring whether they will receive the Fulbright grants.
Did you know? Miami was named by the Institute of International Education (IIE) as one of the "Top Producing Institutions" for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Global Initiatives Staff Member Named to NAFSA Academy for International Education

Program coordinator Alicia Castillo Shrestha has been selected to the Region 6 cohort of the 2022 Class of NAFSA’s Academy for International Education, a unique opportunity to develop personal and professional capacities in the field. Alicia's many accomplshments include coordinating Miami's Global Readiness Certificate, an academic program that combines Miami coursework, co-curricular activities, and community involvement focused on global readiness.

Strippel Spring Programming Explores Dialogue Across Difference

Continuing with the theme of "The Responsibility To Act," the Robert E. Strippel Memorial Fund for Continuing Dialogue on Human Rights and Social Justice announces virtual programming for the spring semester. Learn skills for having respectful conversations that clarify differences, search for common ground, and affirm the importance of the relationship.

Co-Sponsored Semester Program Info Sessions

Did you know that Miami offers more than a dozen co-sponsored study abroad programs, across four continents? On co-sponsored programs, students pay Miami tuition and a set program fee which allows them to use their normal Miami scholarships like they were on campus.

Registration for Institute for Learning in Retirement Spring Semester Opens Soon!

Join ILR for our 25th Anniversary year, with virtual, hybrid, and in-person classes across a variety of topics! Registration for spring courses runs from March 1-22, and courses begin on March 28. Visit MiamiOH.edu/ILR for details!
