Dear parents and families,
This season naturally brings a moment to pause and reflect on all that we are thankful for. The privilege of spending my days supporting your students and seeing their growth makes me especially grateful.
Tomorrow, I will host the final Dr. G’s Fun House of the semester. This is a low-time-commitment, high-fun event that is FREE for your student, featuring music, ice skating and food trucks—a great opportunity for them to step away and unwind as they prep for final projects and exams.
As a reminder, we start Rapid Access counseling appointments for students at the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services through Dec. 18. TimelyCare is also available for 24/7 medical and mental health virtual appointments.
Over Winter Break, I hope our students take some time to recharge. Wishing you and your families a safe and happy holiday season. I look forward to welcoming them back in the new year.

Warmly,

Encourage your student to enroll in Career Exploration at WashU |
Career Exploration at WashU: Understand Yourself & Envision Possibilities is a class all about your student. It will help them understand their interests, values and strengths as they relate to their course of study, college experiences, and the world of work beyond.
Students will learn about and use resources at the Center for Career Engagement, read and reflect on writings by thought leaders, learn how to do informational interviews, and research occupational options online. Students will earn credit to take important steps forward with support from career coaches. Fantastic for sophomores, but open to undergrads from all schools. See the course listing.
