SPIRIT WEEK BRINGS FUN & COMMUNITY TOGETHER
Warm Hearth Village was full of excitement, laughter, and team spirit during this year’s Employee Giving Campaign: Spirit Week! From jerseys and donuts to scavenger hunts, raffle baskets, and the popular $5 Meal Deal, employees across the Village came together to celebrate, connect, and give back.
One of the biggest highlights of the week was the Pantry Pile-Up food drive, where departments collected non-perishable food and household items for our community pantries. Buildings turned donations into creative displays that showcased not only teamwork, but the caring spirit that makes Warm Hearth so special.
Most importantly, Spirit Week reminded us that when we come together, even small acts of generosity can make a big impact. Every donation, raffle ticket, and moment of participation helped support the Warm Hearth Foundation’s mission to advocate, innovate, and care for seniors, employees, and our community.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s Spirit Week such a fun and meaningful success!

WALKING THE DEMENTIA JOURNEY TOGETHER
June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month — a time to honor, support, and walk alongside the many individuals and families impacted by dementia.
Caring for a loved one with memory loss can feel emotional and overwhelming at times, but families do not have to navigate the journey alone. The Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) recently launched Dementia Capable Virginia, a helpful online resource filled with caregiver tools, educational materials, and the updated 2026 Virginia Dementia Road Map to help families better understand and prepare for each stage of the journey.
At Warm Hearth Village, we understand the importance of compassionate support, meaningful connection, and creating moments of comfort and joy through Arbor Memory Care.
If you’re exploring memory care options for someone you love, our team is here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

HYDRATE SMARTER THIS SUMMER
Summer fun, sunshine, and warmer temperatures can quickly lead to dehydration—sometimes before you even realize it. The good news? Staying hydrated can be simple (and refreshing!).
Keep it cold
Grab an insulated water bottle that stays cold all day and keep it by your side. Having water within reach makes it much easier to sip throughout the day.
Eat your hydration
Summer favorites like watermelon, strawberries, cucumbers, and oranges are packed with water and nutrients to help you stay refreshed.
Sip before you’re thirsty
Whether you’re gardening, walking, traveling, or enjoying community events, don’t wait until you feel thirsty to drink water—by then, your body is already playing catch-up.
Mix it up
If plain water gets boring, try adding lemon, cucumber, mint, or berries for a little extra flavor without added sugar.
