Don't sign that lease just yet! Thinking about going abroad next year? Wondering about subletting? Representatives from Residential Life and Financial Aid will be present to assist with your questions. The link for the webinar will be available on the Residential Life page the day before the event.

CEEO's 4th Annual Nolop Makerspace Haunted House

Join Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO) as Professors Danahy and Bell feature spooky robotics creations built by students in Intro to Engineering courses and from Tufts Robotics Club, Tufts Make Club, and others! The haunted house will be on Friday, October 29, at 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Nolop Makerspace in the SEC building. Join us...if you dare! (Sorry, no minors or non-Tufts guests are invited to this event.)

TUSC Hosts Campus Programming During Halloween Weekend

TUSC will be hosting Halloweekend, a series of on- and off-campus programs to ensure you have a fun and safe Halloween weekend. See the full schedule and details on JumboLife, and get tickets to the off-campus events on TuftsTickets starting Monday, October 25, at 10:30 a.m.

Apply to Speak at TEDxTufts 2022 – Deadline Extended!

TEDxTufts provides a platform for members of the Tufts community to spark conversation and create meaningful connections by spreading bold ideas, inspirational stories, and transformative experiences. Do you have something to share? Apply to speak at our 2022 event! Our deadline has been EXTENDED to October 27.

Reminder to Submit Your Intent to Study Abroad in 2022–23

By November 1, 2021, all students who plan to study abroad in 2022–23 (excluding summer) must submit the "Intent to Study Abroad" form. This is mandatory in order to study abroad; students who do not register by the deadline will not be eligible to study abroad in 2022–23. We will not consider late petitions. By February 1, 2022, students must apply for their study-abroad program in 2022–23. These deadlines are applicable to both Tufts Programs Abroad and external (non-Tufts) programs. (Students who register their intent to study abroad will not receive an on-campus housing lottery number.)

Applications closing November 1! – Tufts Campaign School

One week left to submit your application for the Tufts Campaign School happening January 2022! Network and connect with campaign leaders, reporters, former candidates, and talented Tufts alumni while you produce a digital portfolio of polling analyses, campaign talking points, and social media strategies. Apply today for the opportunity to engage and network with fellow students as well as guest speakers who are campaign experts and industry leaders to former and current candidates.

Senior Portraits, Second Round

Seniors! Don't forget to sign up for your Senior Portrait if you missed it last time. This will be your final time to sign up and have your portrait taken. To sign up for your free portrait sitting, please visit ouryear.com and enter Tufts code 267. Sessions begin on November 1 in Campus Center Room 112. Getting your portrait taken on campus is the only way to be in the portrait section of the 2022 Senior Memory Book.

Turkey Shuttle

The Tufts Community Union (TCU) Student Senate is sponsoring the annual Turkey Shuttle. Students can purchase a bus ticket from campus to South Station or Logan Airport for $5. Departure days/times are Tuesday, November 23, at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. and Wednesday, November 24, at 6 a.m., 8 a.m., and 10 a.m. There will be one bus per time, and tickets are first-come, first-served and will be available for students to purchase on TuftsTickets starting Monday, November 1, at 10:30 a.m.

East Boston Healthy Families Collaborative Logo Competition

Want to get creative this semester? Want to help support a community coalition working to improve child health and wellbeing in the Boston area? Want to enter a competition with cash prizes ($250 for winner, $100 and $50 for runner-ups)? Sign up for the East Boston Healthy Families Collaborative (EBHFC) logo contest!
The EBHFC is a group of community organizations working together to prevent childhood obesity and promote health and wellness in East Boston. They work with researchers at the Friedman School as part of the Catalyzing Communities Initiative at ChildObesity180 and need a logo and color palette to help them brand their work.
Catalyzing Communities is holding a contest for students to submit their logo and color palette ideas for an opportunity to win cash prizes. Find more information about what the EBHFC is looking for and for details about the contest.
Submissions are due Monday, November 29.
