Internationally Known Speaker Makes Learning Fun

Carol Weisman, internationally known speaker, author, trainer and consultant, will be the Saturday morning keynote speaker at the 9th annual DSAIA Leadership Conference. Carol, owner of BoardBuilders, specializes in volunteerism, fund raising and governance and will address fundraising for board members. Carol began her professional career working with gangs, a marvelous background for working with boards she says. She found the gangs better organized, with clearer expectations and a solid leadership training program. Although she doesn't recommend any fundraising that would end in incarceration, the gangs certainly had some "creative" ideas.

Carol is just one of many industry professionals scheduled to speak at the upcoming conference. The full conference schedule will be available online by October 22nd.
