| With the MLB All-Star Game approaching, we’re spotlighting Kevin Wilson (’21), whose unconventional journey led him from youth pastor to inside sales manager for the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers.
After enrolling at UNF as a religious studies major, he pivoted to sport management, realizing his passion for athletics. Despite pandemic challenges, he gained national experience thanks to supportive UNF faculty. He earned a competitive internship with the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which launched his career in sports. Driven and determined, he quickly rose through the ranks, now leading a 12-person team. Mentorship remains his passion, and he thrives on helping new professionals succeed.

This month’s Local Business Showcase features Osprey father-son duo Tim (’93) and Matthew Daniels (’21), owners of Four Fathers Distillery in Jacksonville!
After earning his chemistry degree at UNF and spending 25 years at Bacardi, Tim pursued his passion by launching his own distillery. Matthew, who grew up around the stills and later earned his finance degree from UNF, recently joined the family business full time.

With three All-American honors, five school records and a perfect 4.0 GPA, Kolbe secures her legacy as one of the most accomplished student-athletes in program history.
