Join us for an information session on Wednesday, November 16, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Dowling Hall Room 745B to learn about international opportunities with the Peace Corps and make your application stand out. Michael Black, Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and Regional Recruiter at the Peace Corps, will join us to share his global experiences and insights about the Peace Corps, which offers participants the opportunity to gain international experience as a volunteer and to earn scholarships for graduate school programs.

The Probiotic Turn and the Green Rebranding of Cattle in the Anthropocene
Amidst calls for reducing livestock, the cattle industry is undergoing a green rebranding. On the other hand, probiotic approaches deploy "keystone species" to modify ecological systems on planetary and microbial scales. Join Jamie Lorimer of the University of Oxford on Thursday, November 17, at 12 noon in the Curtis Hall Multi-Purpose Room 101 as he discusses this probiotic approach with cattle as a case study. Co-sponsored by Tufts Environmental Studies; Anthropology; Biology; and Science, Technology, and Society.

Opportunity for Students: Generous Listening and Dialogue Center's (GLADC) Dialogue Ambassador Program
The Dialogue Ambassadors program establishes a cadre of trained students prepared to co-lead discussions with Tufts faculty, staff, and students. Ambassadors will serve as a central resource and hub for student outreach through the network of student organizations and residential life programs. Participating students earn a stipend and gain firsthand experience in dialogue and facilitation. The program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Interested students should email GLADC@tufts.edu.
