Progress over perfection! You don't have to have everything figured out. College is about learning, growing, and sometimes making mistakes along the way. What matters is that you keep moving forward even when faced with challenges.
-
Asking for help is strength, not a weakness. Whether you're struggling in a class, feeling overwhelmed, or just need a little guidance, take advantage of the people and resources available to you. Start by making an appointment with an academic coach at the ARC or with your advisor.
-
Work smarter, not just harder. Pulling an all-nighter isn't always the answer. Take breaks, get sleep, and remember that taking care of yourself is just as important as checking things off your to-do list.
|
The International College Learning Center Association (ICLCA) Learning Center Certification is a significant accomplishment that recognizes the Academic Resource Centerâs commitment to excellence in academic support services, staff training, assessment practices, and student success initiatives. The ARC is one of only 10 learning centers in the country to earn this designation, highlighting the centerâs dedication to maintaining high professional standards and implementing best practices in tutoring and academic support.

âThe tutors believed in my abilities and got excited when I would succeed. I am really grateful for them!â
