A monthly update for collegiate officers and volunteers of Beta Theta Pi
THE BETA BRIEF | JULY 2026 |
The Beta Brief provides monthly updates and reminders for chapter officers, advisors, house corporation volunteers and General Fraternity Officers.

Spend time building and maintaining positive relationships to help improve your overall wellness. Take a moment this month to connect with a brother you have not seen this summer and check in on how he's doing, or organize a meetup with brothers in your area.

End-of-Term Reporting: Several chapters are still missing End-of-Term Reports for one or more of the following terms: Spring 2025, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Please ensure that this reporting is completed on MyBeta no later than July 15. If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to your assigned director of fraternity services.
Follow Up With Wooden Institute Graduates: The Wooden Institute experience doesn't end when participants return home. Take time to connect with chapter brothers who attended Wooden this summer and ask them to share what they learned, the goals they set and the plan of action they developed. These conversations create accountability and help translate their ideas into meaningful action for your chapter.
New Member Education Assessment: The New Member Education Assessment for the 2026-27 academic year opens later this month. Chapter presidents and vice presidents of education will soon receive an email with the required steps to verify the chapter's new member program through the Administrative Office.
New MyBeta Learning Center Coming Soon: This upgrade will bring an improved experience and new features to make online learning easier and better than ever! The current MyBeta Learning Center is temporarily unavailable during this transition. Stay tuned for the launch of the new platform at Convention.
Intern Applications Open: The Administrative Office is now accepting program intern applications for Winter Leadership Conclave and Wooden Institute. Join the event team to develop professional skills and build your Beta network. Contact Doug Russell with questions.
