Increased Income Limits Effective July 2
Income limits for the following programs will increase for loans locked on or after July 2, 2018:
  • Start Up
  • Step Up
  • Downpayment and Closing Cost Loans (Monthly Payment Loan, Deferred Payment Loan, Deferred Payment Loan Plus)
The new income limits will be posted to the Minnesota Housing's website on July 2.
*The 11-county Twin Cities Metro Area is defined as: Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Washington and Wright Counties. 
Increased Home Cost Limits Effective July 2
The acquisition cost limit for Start Up and the purchase price or refinance loan amount limit for Step Up will increase for loans locked on or after July 2, 2018:
  • 11-county metro area - $328,200
  • All other counties - $271,100
The new limits will be posted to the Minnesota Housing's website on July 2.
