| Graduate Research Grant: Fall 2024 |
We’re excited to announce the upcoming availability of the Graduate Research Grant, offering $1,000 to support graduate students in presenting or conducting research. These funds can be used for a variety of expenses, including conference registration fees, travel (flights, gas), food, lodging, and more. The grant is awarded on a first-come, first serve basis.
The Fall 2024 research grant will open in the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye on your online form approvals! For more details, visit our website.

Updates coming soon on Graduate Faculty Membership and Review |
Since early July, the Graduate School Dean has been hard at work on a comprehensive update to our Graduate Faculty policies. These updates will refine eligibility requirements, streamline appointment processes, and enhance membership renewal procedures. While we're still in the final stages, we wanted to give you a heads-up—big changes are on the horizon, and we'll be sharing more details soon!

| Nominate a Student for the Caring Award |
Faculty and staff can nominate a UNF junior, senior or graduate student who embodies the spirit of caring, volunteerism and humanitarianism for the Caring Award. The winning student will receive a bronze sculpture, be honored during commencement and receive a donation made in their name to the charity of their choosing!

Fall 2024 Graduate Assistantship Waiver Updates
|
As we’ve transitioned to the new processing system for Graduate Assistantship waivers in Workday, we’ve encountered a few learning curves this semester. Rest assured, we’re working diligently to finalize all waivers before the payment deadline. As of August 14th, we have changed our Graduate Student of the Month award. The Graduate School is now giving out a certificate for our winners that they can use on their resumes!
