The Designing and Leading Inclusive Faculty Mentoring Programs at UIC Toolkit is now available to offer best practices for designing and leading inclusive faculty mentoring programs across a breadth of departments and colleges nestled within the UIC landscape. This toolkit includes interactive resources, such as the UIC Mentoring Map and best practices checklists for Units, Mentors, and Mentees.

2024-25 Teaching Recognition Program Recipients |
The Teaching Recognition Program celebrates outstanding teaching at UIC and is a unique opportunity for faculty to showcase their dedication to education. Administered by faculty and offered through the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the program awards a $1,500 increase to the annual base salary of those who have demonstrated excellence in teaching over the past three academic years. The program is open to all tenured, tenure-track, and nontenure-track faculty who have shown a long-term commitment to teaching at UIC.

FALP includes mentorship and career development, on-campus sessions with UIC leaders and visionaries, as well as the option to engage in impactful projects. FALP fosters a collaborative environment where participants can exchange ideas, explore innovative solutions, and reflect on their leadership potential. FALP is a valuable opportunity to prepare faculty for future administrative roles across campus. Applications will be due May 15th.
