Ascension Project: Apply now for this year-long career readiness, leadership development, and high-quality mentorship program for Juniors and Seniors of color pursuing teacher licensure at Tennessee universities. The program also offers a $1,200 stipend in two installments. The application is due April 11, 2025. 

Clarksville-Montgomery County Retired Teachers Scholarship: Junior and senior education students with a GPA of 3.0+ who meet Teacher Education program admission requirements can apply for up to $2,500 here. The application deadline is April 22, 2025. 

Greater Nashville Alliance of Black School Educators Scholarship: Each year, the Greater Nashville Alliance of Black School Educators provides scholarship opportunities to aspiring educators. The Gwendolyn V. Smith Scholarship offers $1,000 to black education students. Must maintain a 2.75 or higher GPA. The application is due May 1, 2025.
