| Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Program
Applications due May 3
The Fulbright-Hays DDRA funds doctoral candidates (US citizens or permanent residents) to conduct research in other countries, in modern foreign languages and area studies for periods of six to 12 months. The grant does not fund research whose focus is on Western European countries.
Applications due May 1
These grants provide financial assistance to adults who have experienced a significant break in their formal education and are entering or currently attending UW-Madison on a less than half-time basis. For the summer term, grants for in-state tuition may be awarded for one three-credit course for graduate students. Dissertators are not eligible.
