May 17 - 24 - Seven-Day Retreat with Sandra Gonzalez and Wayne Coger
Sandra, in the photo at left, and Wayne will both give talks and be available for the group and individual meetings in this springtime retreat. Information about Wayne and Sandra, articles, and recorded talks may be found on their teacher pages on the website.

All-Day Sitting Saturday, May 31
This day of meditation will have a talk by Wayne or Sandra and opportunities for individual meetings and group dialogue. Lunch is provided. A $15 donation is requested for attendance. Click here to see the schedule for the day. It is helpful if participants arrive by 8:15 a.m. to sign in and choose a seat. Please contact reception if you wish to attend and also if you wish to stay overnight before or after the All-Day.

Friday June 6 - Tuesday June 10
The Center is being rented to a group for a weekend retreat based on a Course in Miracles, and staff are off thereafter. Please contact Patti Fields for information about the retreat.

June 14 - 21 - Seven-Day Retreat with Wayne Coger
Wayne will give talks and be available for group and individual meetings. At left, he is pictured in the beautiful hemlock grove in the Center's north woods.

June 22 - July 4 - Quiet Weeks
During Quiet weeks the building is in silence following the regular work day and on the weekend. The June All-Day Sitting and the Annual meeting will take place during the Quiet Weeks. If you would like more information or to make a reservation to stay during all or part of the period, please contact reception.

Weekend of June 28 - 29 - All-Day Sitting / Annual Meeting
This weekend takes place during the Quiet Weeks. Please contact reception if you wish to attend all or part of the weekend and if you would like to reserve a room to stay one or more overnights. The All-day sitting will follow the same format as the May 31 sitting described above. The Annual Meeting begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, and will be followed by a pot-luck lunch. Please bring a dish to share if you will be attending the Annual Meeting.

Project to Create a Digital Archive of Talks by Toni Packer
The last batch of reel-to-reel tapes of talks by Toni is now being converted to digital format. The Center will soon have the hard drives of the digitized talks.

Newly Digitized and Recommended - An example of a fine talk from the project may be accessed online here. In this 1987 talk, Toni asks: "Can there be any action without motive?" This and a sampling of other talks by Toni are available on her audio page on the web site.

The photo of Toni at left was taken in 1984 at Camp Onanda, where the Center first held retreats. Warm thanks once again to Toni's family for their generous donation that is making this valuable work available in modern format. Further thanks to Sally Woodmansee for helping with retrieving tape titles and dates from the oldest reel-to-reel tapes. This begins the next stage of the archive project—creating an online-accessible catalogue of the recordings' topics.
