1. Student Takeover Sunday Not this coming Sunday but the next – February 23 – our students will be leading worship and I’m really looking forward to it. They’ll share responsibilities for worship and parking and greeting and more that will impress us all. Chris Gillespie will be preaching and it’s going to be a terrific Sunday. Join us! 2. Marriage Night Friday, February 28 Deermeadows is having an in-house marriage retreat. Our speakers from Live the Life are excellent and it will be an important (and fun) time together with other couples. Click HEREto sign up! (Free childcare available by request.) 3. Nerf & Nachos If I could be here Saturday night I definitely would. Our family grew up having indoor nerf wars and we have the broken furniture to prove it – it was my fault, the kids will tell you. Our Kids Min Team has organized a great time together on campus from 5pm -8pm (looks like a time parents might sneak out for a date). Just because I’m missing it doesn’t mean you have to. Bring a friend!
All God's Best For You!
Larry

Upward Soccer Phone Calls
Each year the senior adults contribute to the Upward Soccer program by making phone calls to players and their parents informing them of necessary information concerning their season. They read from a script prepared by Upward Soccer and speak with parents or leave a voice mail if necessary. Usually 8-10 volunteers are needed to do this from their homes and only takes about half an hour. If you're able to help, contact Len Sak (via email or phone: 642-2200 x204). Calls are made in late February.
