We hope you enjoy the garden, from the shady spots under the oaks to the Descanso Railroad, to the Farmhouse restaurant, and your favorite flower. Your membership is an invitation to explore and discover all the wonderful things Descanso has to offer.

We are writing to let you know that after careful consideration, we decided to increase membership prices effective August 1, 2025.

This is our first price increase in five years. This adjustment will support improvements to the gardens while helping us meet Descanso’s ongoing needs.

Our members are our biggest fans and supporters, so we are offering you a special opportunity to renew before prices go up. Renew now

Also, we are pleased to announce the addition of a new membership level. The new level, called Dual Plus, allows two members and two adult guests to visit the gardens at the same time. View the benefits

Renew by July 31, 2025, and pay your current rate. As a bonus, use promo code JULY25 and receive an extra month of membership for free. Only one promotion per renewal, please.

We know how much our members value their visits to the gardens, and please know that this decision was not made lightly.

How much will membership prices increase?

Individual, Dual, Sr. Dual levels: $19

Family: $30

Family and Friends: $34

Nature Lover and Perennial Circle rates will stay the same.

How do I find my current membership level and expiration date?

Your level and expiration date are on your digital card. You can also email us at membership@descansogardens.org.

If I renew today, will my membership start today or when my current membership expires?

Your membership will extend from when your current membership expires. For example, if your membership expires on 11/30/25 and you renew today for one year, your new expiration date will be 12/31/26 with the added bonus month.

What if I am signed up for automatic renewal?

If your expiration date is 7/31/25: Your membership will renew automatically on 7/31/25 at the current rate. 

If your expiration date is after 7/31/25 and you would like to pay the current rate: 

Please renew now online, in-person, or by phone. Select auto-renew at purchase to stay signed up for automatic renewal. Your membership will renew automatically on the new expiration date.
