Fall 2022
Welcome to Fall and our briefest e-newsletter to date.
We hope you enjoy our condensed Fall 2022 newsletter while you sip that pumpkin spice/chai latte in your reusable mug while scrolling through our digital newsletter - doing your part to be green.
Do you manage communities outside of Clackamas County? See our list of regional multifamily contacts throughout the tri-county area who are ready to help with your waste prevention, reuse, and recycling efforts.
Recycle Guides - Same Items,
New & Improved Look

As our regional multifamily garbage and recycling signage has changed, so has the look of our recycle guide. Our accepted items have not changed, but the layout of the guide has. The new format matches our signage and is intended to be easier to understand.
As a reminder, our guides are available in seven languages (English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Thai). You can access electronic copies on our webpage, request printed copies using our online multifamily order form, or watch and share our Recycling Basics video (2:35) with residents.

RecycleOrNot: "Tanglers"
Broken charging cables, old phone cords, cables to an old TV (or camera) you got rid of 10 years ago.... You're not alone; we all have them.
Wires, hoses, chains and electrical cords jam up the machines that sort recycling. When you find these worn out or broken "tanglers" (items that tangle), they go in the trash.
If they are still in good, working condition, you can always give them to someone who can use them. Find that someone on social media platforms like Facebook Marketplace, BuyNothing, and others.
Curious about other items? Find RecycleOrNot (and ReciclarONo) on Instagram and look at past photos or submit your own!

We're here to help...

Please remember that we are here to help with your multifamily garbage and recycling needs. Whether you need materials to share with residents, help getting your service changed, or anything else related to recycling, trash, or waste reduction at a multifamily community, please contact us! We're here to help YOU!
