Maximum award AUD $50,000
Supports the development of new or early stage collaborative research across the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) and University of Sydney. To undertake preliminary work to support a competitive grant submission. The majority of this funding will be provided as in-kind support by the CTC in the form of mentorship, and advice relating to areas like clinical trials design, grant development, project management and biostatistics. Researchers of various levels of experience and expertise are encouraged to apply.

The SCP Seed Grant scheme is open to Early and Mid-Career Cancer Researchers (E/MCRs) who are SCP members working at Sydney Health Partners member institutions. SCP Seed Grants are valued at up to $20K over 12 months, with an additional amount of up to $30K available for access to research core facilities, services or equipment.
The SCP Pilot Study Grant scheme is open to all researchers who are SCP members working at Sydney Health Partners member institutions. The goal is to build research capacity in NSW by supporting researchers to conduct a pilot study that will increase the competitiveness of applications for external funding to conduct translational cancer research. SCP Pilot Study Grants are valued at up to $60K per annum, for up to 2 years.
