In the old-growth forest that joins Atlanta’s Bush Mountain and Oakland City neighborhoods, students led the build of an outdoor classroom to celebrate nature and community.

Students are giving plastic new purpose through furniture design. The pieces will be installed on campus as reconfigurable outdoor furniture made entirely from repurposed plastic —sourced from Georgia Tech labs, local recyclers, and nonprofits.
