Welcome to the December 2025 edition of the Warrior Family Association e-newsletter. Our campus is quiet this week, and there are plenty of parking spaces available! Karl and I will miss seeing our students every day, but I am sure you are looking forward to spending some quality time with your student over the holiday break.

The holidays are a time to cherish the traditions that bring us closer—whether it’s sharing stories, enjoying a favorite meal or creating new memories with the people you love. At Indiana Tech, our greatest tradition is caring for one another. Thank you for being part of our Warrior family. We wish you peace, joy and meaningful moments this season!

Petition for Graduation

The deadline to petition as a Spring graduate is Jan. 15. To be considered for Commencement participation, the petition for graduation MUST be submitted by the Jan. 15 deadline.

Final Thoughts from a Fellow Mom

As we’ve done for the past couple of years, Karl and I will spend the week of Christmas in Pittsburgh with our two sons, Nicholas and Thomas. Our plans include a Holiday Pops concert with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Christmas Eve Mass and a Christmas dinner with friends.

This year will be a little different for us because Thomas will be with his new fiancée, Victoria, and her family for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Our traditional family opening of presents will have to wait for the evening of the 25th.

After Christmas, we will visit family in New Jersey. This will also be a different experience for us, as my mom, who was 97 years old, passed away in early November. Although she won’t be with us, we look forward to continuing our many family holiday traditions. We will then head back to Pittsburgh to ring in the new year with friends.
