Jewish Learning Fellowship Dinner with Local Jewish Community

Anchor Day
Vanderbilt Hillel welcomed admitted students and their families for two Fridays in April. Vanderbilt Hillel hosted a reception, Shabbat services, and Shabbat dinner outside on the outdoor patio. (pictured above)
Yom Hashoah and Yom Hazikaron
Our Vandy Hillel students joined the Nashville Jewish community for both Yom Hashoah and Yom Hazikaron. Our students participated in both programs. One student shared his family's Holocaust survival story at the Jewish Federation's Yom Hashoah program. Students also participated in the candle vigil for Yom Hazikaron. (pictured below)
Passover
Vanderbilt Hillel marked a vibrant and engaging celebration of Passover this year, hosting a wide array of programs and meals for students across campus. Over the first two nights of the holiday, Hillel facilitated 14 Seders, bringing together more than 400 students. Each Seder was student-led and thoughtfully developed, reflecting Hillel’s micro-community approach, an emphasis on creating meaningful experiences tailored to specific student groups and shared interests.
Commencement
