Commencement 2024 security and access reminders |
|
|
Dear Student,
We are looking forward to celebrating Commencement 2024 with you this weekend. We write to encourage you to review this year’s increased security measures to avoid being inconvenienced or delayed as you enter the festivities.
The security measures include a list of items that will not be allowed inside Commencement venues:
|
- Signs or banners of any size
- Full-sized flags (note: small, handheld flags will be allowed - maximum size is 7" x 5")
- Large totes, oversized purses, backpacks, large diaper bags, or messenger bags
- Umbrellas (ponchos will be available, if needed)
- Balloons
- Any kind of weapon or firearm
- Drones and model aircraft
-
Artificial noisemakers
|
To access Commencement venues, you will need to:
|
|
|
- Show your Tufts student ID. This is the best and easiest way to enter.
- Use your marching card as your entrance pass.
- Share an image of your Tufts student ID with your guests that they can display on their phones or print a copy to enter events.
- The least preferred method of access for your family and friends will be Guest Access Passes. These may be available in advance when you pick up your marching card or can be requested at an information desk or booth near the event entrances.
|
See you this weekend!
With best wishes,
AS&E Commencement Committee
