Gaining Hands-On Experience

Monday, October 8

Connect with professionals in the field! Apply academic knowledge and analytical skills in professional settings. Learn about internship opportunities on and off-campus and how to prepare to apply. Instructional Assistant Opportunities

Thursday, October 18
3:00-4:00PM | Pacific Hall Rm. 3500 (3rd flr.)
This session describes the ways students may gain practical teaching experience, as an Instructional Apprentice, under the mentorship of a Biology course instructor.  An overview of the application process, a faculty member’s viewpoint on the experience, and a student’s perspective on participation will be shared. Study Abroad as a Biology Major

BSSA Fall GBM (General Body Meeting)

Join us for our first GBM of the quarter, and learn how being a member of BSSA can enhance your undergraduate experience. Don't miss out on our upcoming events, applying to committees, and various opportunities. Our advisor Dr. Mel, Teaching Professor in Molecular Biology, will give a brief speech for the night. Find out how BSSA is a resource for you to utilize during your time at UCSD! Doors open at 6:45 PM.
