PINCH OUT CHINCH.
ArtisTree is beginning our annual chinch bug management treatments for HOA communities we maintain. Now through summer we'll be using the best product available to help discourage these voracious little critters that love drought conditions. We'll also continue with proper mowing and irrigation to ensure a strong root system. Chinch bugs can be controlled with vigilant oversight if your landscape maintenance company identifies the problem correctly.  Click on image to learn more.
GARDEN SURPRISE PARTY.
 While Garden Elementary students were out on spring break, ArtisTree crews worked feverishly to transform a dull, weed-filled space into a beautiful new rock garden. We donated design plans, plant material, hardscapes, tree trimming and installation so that students of this Venice-based school could display their hand-painted rocks and enjoy creative learning outdoors. You should have seen the students' faces light up when they returned. What a joy it was to surprise these "rock star" kids!

 More than half of those updating their front yards say that beds or borders (47%), shrubs (29%), and perennials (28%) are the most important features of their home’s curb appeal.
