There is $180 million in funding available through FEMA for Flood Mitigation Assistance and Pre-Disaster Mitigation.  These two grant programs help state and local governments strengthen the nation's ability to reduce the potential cost of natural disasters to communities and their citizens.  Click here for more information. 

TN-CNECT and FirstNet are conducting a survey to better understand the wireless broadband needs of public safety in the state.  Completeing this survey will provide TN-CNECT and FirstNet with valuable information in planning and implementing the best wireless broadband for public safety users throughout Tennessee.  Click here for the survey and more information.  TN-CNECT and FirstNet are also hosting a conference August 5-6 at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs to provide updates on the state's progress with FirstNet.  Click here for more information.
