The Homeless World Cup Foundation (HWCF) is an exceptional social movement that utilizes street soccer to motivate individuals experiencing homelessness to transform their own lives. With a network of grassroots street soccer partners spanning over 70 countries, HWCF organizes and delivers an international tournament for national teams of homeless men and women.
Athletes from around the world will gather at Sacramento State, uniting over 50 nations to tackle global homelessness through the power of street soccer. From July 8th through July 15th, Hornet Stadium will transform into street soccer fields as it hosts the first-ever Homeless World Cup in the United States in partnership with the national non-profit Street Soccer USA.
If you're passionate about making a difference, we invite you to join us as a volunteer! There will be a variety of volunteer positions available, from team guides to scorekeeping, communications to photography, and even team supporters - you can cheer for the teams all week long! We welcome all talents and skills to participate in this life-changing event.
