Metro Flood Maps Updated by FEMA
FEMA, the Army Corps of Engineers, and Metro Water Services have used recent data to develop new Davidson County flood maps, which will be adopted later this month. In Bellevue, the impact is in rural areas, affecting 24 properties on Cub Creek Road, six Pond Creek Road, and four River Road Pike.
Affected property owners have or will in the coming days receive a letter about the change and recommending they obtain flood insurance before the maps become official February 25, guaranteeing them a discount on the insurance.
