Introducing our new SRI Associate for the Humanities, Fine Arts, Social Sciences, and Education (HASSE)
We are delighted to introduce our new SRI Associate for the Humanities, Fine Arts, Social Sciences, and Education (HASSE), Dr. Melissa Bator. Dr. Bator received her Ph.D. from the Department of Communication at UC Santa Barbara, where she studied the motivational and communicative processes associated with (interorganizational and interdisciplinary) collaboration among knowledge management professionals within the field of International Development. For the last five years, she has split her work as an academic coordinator between the Center for Information Technology & Society and the Orfalea Center for Global & International Studies at UCSB. Melissa is excited to bring this experience to the Strategic Research Initiatives arm of the Office of Research and looks forward to connecting with faculty from the HASSE disciplines who are interested in developing their research through new funding sources. Check out this page for information about SRI personnel and how to contact us for assistance.
