Research Development & Grant Writing Newsletter from Academic Research Funding Strategies
This is a reminder that The Office of Research subscribes to a Grantwriting Newsletter from Academic Research Funding Strategies, and which is available to faculty and staff. This is a monthly newsletter containing articles relevant to faculty and campus researchers on grant writing, funding agencies, and strategy.
Examples of articles from past issues include:
- Understanding Competitive Funding Strategies for Integration of Research & Education at NSF – NSF’s mantra is integration of research and education. We discuss why understanding NSF’s current thinking on this requirement is important.
- When There’s Too Much To Stay: Strategies to Meet the Page Limit – One of the hardest parts of writing the research narrative can be cutting it down to the page limit. We discuss strategies to do that and end up with a better proposal.
- Finding the Best Fit between a Funder and a Humanities/Social Science Project – Resources that humanities and social science researchers can use to determine if a funder is likely to be interested in their research.
