The University of Arizona Libraries is proud to welcome the University of Arizona Press author David Yetman for a special author talk and signing of his newest book with the Press, Natural Landmarks of Arizona on March 14, 4-6 pm.

Books will be available for purchase at the in-person event. Registered attendees are welcome to visit the Gardens starting at 3 pm.

Botanica Pop-Up exhibit opens March 18

The University of Arizona Health Sciences Library is collaborating with Dr. Patrisia Gonzales, an associate professor in the departments of Mexican American Studies and American Indian Studies in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, to host the exhibit, Pop-Up Botanica: Enduring Indigenous Medicine.

State of the Map US national conference comes to campus 

Geospatial Specialist Kiri Carini from the Libraries talks about the conference dedicated to providing OpenStreetMap, a free editable street map of the world. “Everyone in the OpenStreetMap community is incredibly passionate about open data, open source, and democratized technology.”

Early Books Lecture Series XVII returns in April

The Early Book Lecture Series XVII is an annual event started by Dr. Albrecht Classen, University Distinguished Professor of German Studies, where University of Arizona scholars explore rare books held by Special Collections. 

All lectures are virtual, free, and open to the public.
