Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Check-in is at Church Street Social Center at 8:30 a.m., followed by opening remarks, going to service sites or staying at the center for on-site activities, lunch, and the annual Peacemaker Award. Berkshire Community College will honor one of our greatest heroes by giving back to the community at its annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service event. Breakfast and keynote by Pittsfield's Chief Diversity Officer Michael Obasohan will be followed by volunteer activities and lunch. On Sunday, January 14, at 4 p.m., a celebratory service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield. More info
