Action Alert to End Family Detention Once and for All
Last Friday, Judge Dolly Gee of the Central District of California ruled that current U.S. family detention policies violate a 1997 legal settlement known as the Flores Settlement. This is the second time that the courts have affirmed what we already know: family detention is wrong and must be ended now! The Obama Administration has until Monday to respond to Judge Gee--let's make sure they have heard from us first: comply with the ruling, do not appeal it, release women and children immediately, and close the three family detention centers once and for all.

I urge the Administration to allow this decision to stand, release women and children immediately, and close all family detention centers once and for all.
