Farewell to your Advising Dean, Susan Koegel |

Dear Student,
I am writing with bittersweet news that your advising dean, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Advising Susan Koegel, will be leaving Tufts to pursue new adventures. Dean Koegel’s last day at Tufts will be November 30.
While we search for a new advising dean to join our team, Dean Koegel’s student cohort (Arts and Sciences BA or BS undergraduates with last names M through R) will be temporarily re-assigned as follows:

- Dean Carmen Lowe, last names starting with M
- Dean Matthew Bellof, last names starting with N
- Dean Caitlin Casey, last names starting with O, P, Q, R
|
Advising Deans help students with academic difficulty, extended absence from class, academic petitions, leaves of absence, and progress toward graduation. In most cases, students should direct questions about course selection, registration, add/drop, Pass/Fail, and choice of major and minor to your academic advisor. This is your pre-major advisor or your major advisor.
First-year students and sophomores may also direct these questions or more technical questions about degree requirements to Senior Academic Advisors Ericka Miranda (Ericka.Miranda@tufts.edu) or Allison VanderBroek (Allison.Vanderbroek@tufts.edu).
Students who need to miss a few days of classes due to health matters or personal emergencies should inform their advising dean. Students are assigned to their advising deans by degree program, as follows:
