Student Trustee Application - Extended
The Student Government Association is accepting applications for the Student Trustee position on the University of Memphis Board of Trustees. This opportunity is available to undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and law students. The student is a non-voting member of the board. The student trustee is required to attend all board meetings, including corresponding committee meetings. The Student Trustee selection committee will review all applications, interview qualified candidates, and recommend three finalists for the President, who will make the final selection to the Board of Trustees. Eligible students can apply on Tiger Zone. The completed application must include two letters of recommendation, a resume, and a statement of interest not to exceed 1000 words and closes on April 19, 2024, at 11:59 pm. In this lecture, The Making of the James Webb Space Telescope and Early Science Results, Durning will describe the exciting and unprecedented vistas and understanding of the Universe that has emerged following the launch and deployment of the James Webb Space Telescope.
