Say Hey! on May 16th
Join Partners in Diversity and Say Hey! sponsor, Legacy Health, on Tuesday, May 16th as we introduce 40 professionals of color to Oregon and Southwest Washington's multicultural community. Register to attend here. If you are a professional of color who recently relocated to Oregon or Southwest Washington, you may be eligible to register as an Honoree. If you have attended Say Hey! in the past, accompany one of our Honorees by volunteering as a Buddy. See you soon!

Workforce Diversity Project: Re-Credentialing
Partners in Diversity is wrapping up its Workforce Diversity Project - a three year grant-funded effort to connect communities of color and English Language Learners to living wage jobs.  One of our goals is to address the challenge of re-credentialing immigrants and refugees who come to Oregon with advanced degrees and are unable to work in their fields. We need your help to identify individuals who meet this description. Specifically: name and contact information, type of degree, university at which degree was acquired, country in which degree was acquired, type of job(s) held before immigrating, type of job(s) held in the U.S. If you know of someone or have questions, please contact Marilyn Hartzog at mhartzog@portlandalliance.com or 503.552.6747.
