Obed WaterFest Thank You
A big thanks goes to the TSRA members and friends who volunteered as support boaters on July 22nd to help make this year's Obed WaterFest a success. Your support builds relationships that help us maintain our access to rivers on the Cumberland Plateau. Thanks also to John Schneider for organizing this volunteer opportunity.
Paddler Spotlight: Pat Hurt
Pat Hurt
Pat Hurt participated in the latest Rescue Skills for Recreational Boaters class. Although the “cowboy scramble" deep water re-entry was physically challenging, Pat stayed with it, going beyond what she thought she was capable of doing and successfully completing the re-entry. Pat summarized her experience: "I never thought I would be able to do so many of the things I did today. I planned on just being a spectator on most of the skills. This is great. I have so much more confidence in my ability." Way to go, Pat!

TSRA Paddler Chat is a place where friends and family of the Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association come together to talk about boats and gear, plan paddle trips and tell river stories.

In order TO JOIN THIS GROUP you must:

1) Request to join the group, and
2) Sign a waiver to acknowledge that the trips we plan here are just groups of Common Adventurers enjoying the river together.

*The good news is that you can sign this waiver once and it will cover all TSRA Common Adventurer trips from now on!
