Faculty Learning Communities
|
A Faculty Learning Community (FLC) is a structured group of faculty members who come together regularly for collaborative exploration of a topic related to teaching and learning, research and creativity, or other professional learning. FLC’s are led by a faculty member and create a supportive environment where faculty can share their experiences, discuss challenges, and collectively develop innovative approaches to reaching their goals.

Art of Grants
Sept 2 - Oct 31
AOG is an eight week, asynchronous course that focuses on all aspects of grants from locating requests for proposals to theories of change to writing engaging proposals offered each fall.

| Large-scale Proposal Development Workshop
Oct 4 - Nov 1
In this 8-session series, experienced researchers will identify a team to collaborate with and develop a large-scale grant proposal that addresses a significant societal issue.

| Talk the Talk: Communicate the Value of your Innovation
Oct 14 - Nov 18
Learn essential skills and develop practical techniques that help communicate the value of your innovations as you work alongside fellow research faculty in this six session workshop.
|

|

> Faculty Writing Initiative |
Looking for dedicated time and space to write this semester? FWI is designed to support faculty in achieving their academic and creative goals through work on writing projects of any kind.

> SOAR Research Mentoring |
Faculty with grant experience mentor their faculty colleagues pursuing a grant in the same or related competition. Each faculty grant mentor will receive a stipend to meet with their mentee at least four times and review and make suggestions on project description narrative at least once.
