Golf Classic a smashing success

Fun was had by all Friday at the Sound Christian Golf Classic at High Cedars Golf Club.
Thank you to all the donors and those who participated in the annual event. We raised just over $15,000 to continue ensuring that future students have the opportunity to receive a quality, Biblically-based education here at SCA.

Early release Wednesday for Fair Day

Don't forget that we will be letting students out early on Wednesday for Fair Day at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup.
Pre-K-Second grade: 11:20 a.m. release
3rd-5th grade: 11:30 a.m. release
6th-12th grade: 11:35 a.m. release 

Run as One is nearly here

Our annual Run as One fundraiser kickoff is Friday, Sept. 24 with the event taking place on Friday, Oct. 7.
Be on the lookout for more information soon.

Spring supplements for yearbook available

Returning 10th, 11th and 12th graders who still need their Spring Supplement for last year's yearbook, come to the Yearbook room (608) during lunch on Tuesday to pick them up. If you bring your yearbook Mrs. Arbogast will install it for you.

Before and After School Care is hiring

The Sound Christian Academy Before and After School Care program is looking for a substitute teacher who is available for 3-6 hours a week. This is a paid position.
Please contact Amy Robinson, the BASC manager, for more information.

Colleges scheduled to meet students

Seven colleges will be on campus in the next month to meet with students and to discuss admission at their institutions. 
The planned schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, Sept. 28: Covenant College, 8:15-9:15 a.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 28: Biola University, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 29: Providence Christian College, 8:15-9:15 a.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 29: California Baptist University, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 30: Whitworth University, 1:55-2:55 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 5: Northwest University, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 14: Pacific Lutheran University, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
