| Enjoy a buffet-style dinner followed by local talent performing a romantic selection of love songs. It's the perfect evening for you and your Valentine.
The dinner buffet will include: tender sliced roast beef in au jus with Kummelweck and Kaiser rolls, seasoned baked chicken, au gratin potatoes, hot vegetables, linguini pasta salad, tossed salad, and dessert. Regular beverages are included and a cash bar will be available. Tickets to this special event are: Two for $65 or One for $35.

Local florist, Graceful Blooms, will provide a Flower Buffet, complete with a wide variety of flowers, greenery, and baby’s breath at our Love in the Library dinner-show! Attendees will have an opportunity to create unique bouquets for their Valentines. Graceful Blooms will also donate 5% of the evenings sales to BAPL.
Pricing for the bouquets will be determined by flower and size of the bouquets assembled.

BAPL will be closed on Wednesday, February 5 for staff training. We will resume normal hours on February 6.
We will also be closed on Monday, February 17, in observance of Presidents' Day.
Additionally, on the last Wednesday of every month, the library will open at 12PM. This will allow for monthly staff meetings to be conducted from 10AM - 12PM. The Children's play area will also be closed on this date to facilitate a thorough cleaning of all play items in an effort to eliminate germs.

Open Book Club: Saturday, February 15 at 10:30AM. Members are reading Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Dr. Mary Mulcahey and Bob Harris are invited guests and will be discussing plants.
- Trivia: Tuesday, February 18 at 6 PM. Let's test our knowledge of everything during our next Trivia Night! Enjoy the challenge with your team (4 ppl. max.) or play individually.
- Adult Lego Challenge: Wednesday, February 26 at 6PM. Whether you're rediscovering a childhood passion as an adult or diving in for the first time, experience the fun of this hobby. **Registration is necessary.**

Mystery Date with a Book is returning for more fun! Pick a book without seeing its title. Is it love at first sight? Or, maybe you need to digest a few chapters before knowing you are compatible. How does the Mystery Date work? Select a covered book from our special display, sign it out, but wait until you are home to unwrap it and meet your date. Get to know your book over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine!
Complete the 'Rate your Date' card (included with each book) by February 19 to be entered into our raffle to win a surprise gift! The more you read, the greater your chance to win!

After a short break for the holidays, we are happy to announce the return of Cat Cafe on the first Saturday of every month from 10AM - 12PM. BAPL is collaborating with the McKean County SPCA for the event. Adults are invited to indulge in some quiet reading with cats and kittens who will love to curl up in a lap! Bring a favorite book, and enjoy the feline affection! Special Note: children are invited to read quietly with an adult caregiver.

Book to Movie Club: Mondays at 5 PM. Local students in grades 3 - 5, are welcome to attend every Monday from 5 - 5:45 PM while we read a few chapters from a great children’s book.
